The Organic Whey
Hi,
I read your article about organic whey. We recently made our USDA certified organic whey protein publicly available; visit The Organic Whey™ . I think that your readers would find this useful since our site has a lot of information on benefits of going organic with whey and importance of organic whey.

Thanks for the update. Organic Whey is a good protein source and I do recommend it, particularly for vegetarians (who often don't get enough protein in their diets). My daughter has been a vegetarian for over 8 years and uses an organic whey protein powder in her daily fruit shakes. She's the 'pickiest' eater in our family of five yet she's also pretty healthy and smart enough to know that she needs to choose good protein sources for her nutritional needs.
Her favorite shake combination is one cup of vanilla soy milk, a couple of ice cubes, 1/2 cup frozen raspberries, 1/2 cup frozen blueberries (and sometimes a half a banana) and two tablespoons of organic whey protein powder - everything goes into the blender (or you can use a blender 'stick' in a tall bowl or jar) and blend until mixed but not too thin (she likes a nice thick shake). For added sweetness, try a bit of organic honey or organic maple syrup.
Note: my daughter uses frozen fruits and ice cubes for the thickness - if you want to use fresh fruits then pour the soy milk into ice cube trays and freeze - then use the frozen milk cubes (no water ice cubes) instead of the frozen fruit.
For my shakes, I like to use frozen bananas with milk and raspberries and organic whey protein powder. It's a quick breakfast drink that really provides a tasty energy source; I also like to make a short energy drink (not more than 6 ounces) late in the afternoon on days I know that I won't be eating dinner until late.
