Using specialty oils, (like organic avocado oil, organic macadamia nut oil or organic red palm oil) to cook or prepare foods, adds subtle flavorings. Cooking with spices and oils makes for tastier food.

If you love to cook and you're looking for healthy oils for your kitchen, have you considered organic oils such as avocado oil, macadamia nut oil, and / or red palm oil?

All three of these oils are much better for your health than lard or vegetable oil. Additionally they're well-regarded by chefs around the world has being high-quality cooking oils.

Organic Avocado Oil:

Avocado oil has numerous benefits, and organic oil has specific benefits for someone striving for a nutritious and "green" lifestyle. Avocado oil is heart-healthy in that it has monounsaturated fat (good fat) that actually reduces the amount of LDL cholesterol in your blood. Organic avocado oil also fights prostate problems.

History of Avocados:

Avocados originated in South and Central America where they've been grown for nearly 10,000 years as a staple to the region.

While these ancient people used avocados in some health and beauty preparations, they didn't know they were getting a healthy dose of Latin to protect their eyes, Vitamins A, B and E (all antioxidants that support the immune system and a healthy metabolism), and Magnesium each time they ate this fruit.

Cooking with Avocado Oil:

Avocado oil can be produced by a cold press process that gives it a high smoking point (520 degrees F).

That means it's fantastic for flash frying and stir fry, while it also provides a unique flavor and aromatic signature. Organic avocado oil also has a flavor that works well, and blends well, when cooking with spices and herbs.

Another common use for the oil is in salad dressings, marinades or as a substitute for olive oil. Try it on fish and shellfish.

Note: Not just for the Kitchen:

Avocado oil can be used as part of your beauty routine. Dab a little on dry parts of your skin, or mix it with honey for a refreshing facial mask.

Organic Macadamia Nut Oil & Organic Red Palm Oil

Like organic avocado oil, macadamia nut and red palm oils are good for your body and your skin. It offers many of the same qualities as avocado oil with a subtle sweet-nutty flavor.

By cooking with either of these you'll be getting monounsaturated fat for keeping your cholesterol levels in balance, and provide Omega-3 fatty acids and anti-oxidant vitamins that reduce your risk of cancer and heart disease. All three types of oil are excellent for weight loss programs.

Remember that by purchasing organic oils you're supporting products that have not been treated with any chemical fertilizers or pesticides. So while you're making yourself healthier, you're also being ecologically-friendly.
